Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women & Girls

Price: $0.00

What was experienced and accomplished at the National Roundtable on Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls held on February 27 in Ottawa?

What can church groups do to work in solidarity in the three priority areas of:

  1. Prevention and Awareness
  2. Community Safety
  3. Policing Measures and Justice Responses

Our two co-presenters for this 90-minute webinar both attended the National Roundtable, and bring a national and a grassroots perspective. Our webinar moderator, Rev. Maggie McLeod, Executive Minister, Aboriginal Ministries for the United Church of Canada, also attended the Peoples Gathering on February 26, as did April, in Ottawa.

Together, let us learn how we can share the responsibility to act to prevent and address violence against indigenous women and girls in our communities.

Reweaving theconnectional fabricthat makes us United.
